Writing this blog post brought real tears to my ey Writing this blog post brought real tears to my eyes. It gave me the space to reflect on a journey that began many years ago.

I still remember taking that three-day trip from Nigeria to Barbados for the very first time with so much hope in my heart about what my medical journey would look like in the years to come. Looking back now, I can honestly say it was the right decision. Not just for my career, but for my personal growth.

But what still stings is the quality time I’ve missed with my family, only watching them grow older through the phone, and being present only from a distance.

Yeah some decisions come with sacrifices, and this one did. But I also know I wouldn’t be who I am today if I had stayed in my comfort zone.

Sometimes, growth requires leaving what feels safe. And when you finally do, I hope you don’t let the familiar hold you back from exploring, stretching, and becoming your own person.

For the woman navigating an unfamiliar space and learning how to become her own person, I shared a new post on the blog today:

“How Living Away From Home Taught Me Independence and Faith.” 💕✨

When I touched down Barbados, I just had to go back to her again cuz she is definitely the only one I trust with my brows 🤭 now time to go through the healing and shedding process so I can keep showing up with my brows looking sleek and perfect. 🙂‍↔️🤭
